Job Summary
Behavioral Health Therapist Associate provides counseling and care management for children and adolescents, under supervision of an LPC-S or LCSW-S, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering individual and family psychotherapy. The role supports school-based care coordination, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and contributes to telemedicine/telehealth programs (TCHATT). Responsibilities include CBT, motivational interviewing, tracking outcomes, and advancing toward independent licensure. Location is Austin, TX with a 40-hour workweek and a defined end date (8/31/2027) with potential renewal; flexible working arrangement may be required upon offer.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology or a related field
- 1000 hours towards full clinical licensure
- Current licensure in Texas or eligibility for clinical supervision toward LMSW/LPC toward licensure (LMSW or LPC-Associate)
