Job Summary

Conduct direct therapy, assessment, and case management services for youth in community locations, schools, and community centers while maintaining a minimum of 19 billable hours weekly. Lead therapeutic groups, facilitate interdisciplinary team participation regarding students' social emotional needs, and provide training services. Deliver all services through a racial, gender, sexuality, and ability equity lens, adhering to Positive Youth Development, Restorative Justice, and Trauma-Informed practices. Maintain complete documentation of services and actively participate in agency meetings and supervision. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, clinical licensure preferred, and experience working with high-risk youth.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Past experience working with youth
  • Knowledge of adolescent/family dynamics, substance abuse and trauma issues
  • Cultural competency with Black/Latinx and LGBTQ+ youth
  • Interest and commitment to working in a community-based youth service agency
  • Consistently learning and working within the following frameworks: Anti-oppression, Positive Youth Development, Trauma-informed and Balanced and Restorative Justice
  • Skilled at working with young people at high risk for juvenile justice and child welfare system involvement
  • The COVID vaccine is mandatory for all employees to the full extent permissible under applicable law

Desired Qualifications

  • Clinical licensure in field of Study Preferred (LCSW, LCPC)
  • Spanish speaking preferred
