Job Summary
Assess and diagnose mental health and substance use disorders using evidence-based bio/psycho/social assessments to identify patient and family goals. Provide therapeutic interventions, psycho-educational programming, and behavioral interventions to assist individuals in achieving their individualized service plan objectives. Manage care to ensure patients receive and are referred to appropriate healthcare and community resources to optimize treatment outcomes. When indicated, participate in inpatient and community psychoeducational programs, facilitate support groups for specified disease processes, and assist with community outreach. This full-time day shift role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm) supports a culturally diverse Medicaid and uninsured population at a national healthcare leader.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field
- Two years of experience in mental health/substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming including targeted, evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, and integrative therapies)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 3 months of hire
- Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP)
- Full-time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
