Behavioral Health Technician

Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides intensive, individualized mental health interventions and support services to children and adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses, as well as their families, in various community-based settings. BHTs implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional, delivering clinical interventions and supportive services to enhance functioning in the least restrictive environments. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, relevant behavioral health experience or certifications, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of 40+ hours of training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in provision of behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking
