Behavioral Health Technician- Youth & Adult

Job Summary
Provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients in residential and withdrawal management settings. Monitor health indicators, respond to health emergencies, document and maintain accurate records for medications, behaviors, and treatment progress; facilitate client/patient transport as needed; educate and encourage program participation in a trauma-informed manner; collaborate with the treatment team to identify client strengths and needs; assist with admission and orientation processes; conduct drug testing and maintain communication with the treatment team; prepare and facilitate group rehabilitative support and education; ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with organization policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment
- Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents
- Basic math and keyboarding skills
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with clients
