Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee and manage Behavioral Health Technicians to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients served. Define duties, supervise scheduling, and manage payroll while developing yearly staffing plans that align with census and program needs. Audit Electronic Health Record documentation for accuracy and train staff on admission processes and job duties. Coordinate in-house speakers, off-site recovery meetings, and monthly recreational schedules, ensuring synergy with ancillary providers and the Clinical Director. Facilitate community meetings, manage transportation for admissions and appointments, and attend multi-department meetings to provide milieu observations. Collaborate with departmental leaders and external providers to meet established metrics and promote corporate initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Ability to lead and promote corporate and department initiatives
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner
- Ability to monitor activities of individuals in need of substance abuse treatment
- Ability to screen for danger to self or others
- Demonstrated adherence to acceptable ethical and behavioral standards of conduct
- Ability to provide education and information to individuals and groups, through formal and/or informal processes, concerning their substance abuse with guidance of Clinical Director
- Ability to manage and follow procedures in crisis situations
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in substance use disorders treatment preferred
