Job Summary
Maintain a safe, structured environment for clients through regular rounds, observation, and adherence to daily/weekly schedules. Support medication and testing protocols with accurate documentation and supervisor communication, including transporting clients to appointments and clinical services. Respond to crisis situations, including SI/HI reporting and behavioral issues, and escalate through the proper chain of command. Facilitate client groups and activities appropriate to their track, reinforcing house rules and responsibilities. Complete accurate documentation for intakes, rounds, and shift notes, and communicate clearly through the team chat. Build positive, professional relationships with clients and staff while remaining flexible for schedule needs including last-minute coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a minimum 2-year clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year in the behavioral health, substance use, or mental health field
Desired Qualifications
- Behavioral Health Technician or Mental Health Technician Certification
- CPR and Standard First Aid Certification
- Working knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA or NA
- High School Diploma or GED
