Behavioral Health Technician - Second Shift - 3pm-11pm

Job Summary
Monitor client behavior and activities through regular perimeter and dormitory checks while maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Promptly report health, safety, or behavioral concerns to clinical staff and assist clients with basic daily living skills and personal hygiene needs. Offer consistent positive reinforcement and emotional support to clients in recovery, adapting smoothly to shifting facility needs as assigned. This second shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) supports House of Hope's mission to provide life-changing support to individuals on their journey to recovery within a collaborative, purpose-driven non-profit team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for logging daily notes and reporting incidents
- Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal skills
- Strong adaptability
- High emotional intelligence
- Team-first mindset
- 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- One year of BHT or mental health technician experience
- Prior experience working directly with substance abuse populations
