Job Summary
Provide essential clinical support in a residential behavioral health setting. Deliver emotional support, supervision of clients, and assist clinical staff to maintain a safe, confidential, and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include completing intake assessments, conducting client rounds every 30 minutes, performing contraband and room searches, maintaining facility cleanliness, coordinating group activities, transporting clients, and supporting crisis intervention and staff collaboration. Requires strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, adherence to ethics and patient confidentiality, and proficiency with basic computer skills and electronic health records. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification; successful completion of pre-employment requirements. CadC is a preferred qualification. This is a full-time role based in Johnston, IA, with compensation between $17 and $19 per hour (based on experience).
