Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct care and clinical services to patients, assist in daily living and rehabilitation activities, and ensure effective communication with patients. Responsibilities include general assistance with cleaning and stocking supplies, supporting therapeutic environments, and maintaining accurate documentation. Required skills include compassionate patient interaction, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated compassion and effective communication skills for patient care
- Ability to provide direct care and clinical services to patients
- General cleaning and upkeep in department
- Concise and complete documentation of patient’s response to treatment
Desired Qualifications
- Associates in Human Services or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or Human Services preferred
- 1-3 years of healthcare experience in related field preferred
