Job Summary
Monitor assigned patients, attend to immediate needs, assist with daily living tasks, de-escalate volatile situations, and enforce safety protocols. Plan, lead, and evaluate recreation-oriented sessions to foster skill acquisition and symptom reduction while maintaining orderly living spaces and promoting prosocial behaviors. Accurately chart observations and interventions in electronic health records, collaborate with psychiatrists and nurses to optimize holistic care, and implement aspects of individualized treatment plans. Teach patients psychiatric concepts, early warning signs, and coping mechanisms to instill self-efficacy, and help prepare patients transitioning back into independent living by arranging follow-up appointments and community resource linkage.
Required Qualifications
- High School education
- Two (2) years responsible employment history
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability to obtain a Class E driver's license if required

- Experience in Human Services or related field
