Behavioral Health Technician (Part-time) (Evening/Night Shift)-North Campus

Job Summary
Monitor and assist clients with activities of daily living, including laundry duties, meal coordination, and safety inspections. Perform customer service by greeting clients, conducting admissions, and maintaining unit cleanliness. Prepare clinical documentation in the electronic health record, complete shift reports, and coordinate discharges with the treatment team. This part-time evening/night shift role requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related fields, plus one year of experience with mental health or substance use disorders. A valid Virginia driver's license and ability to work weekends and holidays are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, counseling, nursing or related field
- Moderate experience in clinical documentation
- At least 1 year experience working with individuals diagnoses with mental illness, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
- Experience in group facilitation
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in any field with QSAP or QMHP designation
- Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Ability to work weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
- Basic typing and computer skills
