Job Summary
Provide direct supervision of residents to ensure safety, model appropriate behavior, and enforce program rules. Responsibilities include monitoring client chores, sign-in sheets, curfews, transporting clients to medical, dental, or school appointments, completing support documentation and daily notes, monitoring medication administration and counts, stocking supplies, filing paperwork, submitting incident and shift reports, updating the Client Data System (CDS), and utilizing crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations. Work under the supervision of the Program Manager and support the mission of WestCare Foundation; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with clients in a residential setting preferred
- Possess a valid Florida Driver's license and be eligible for continued coverage under WestCare's insurance policy preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Pre-employment drug test, pre-employment physical and criminal background check may be required
