Behavioral Health Technician

Behavioral Health Technician at Generations Healthcare facility responsible for supervising residents’ activities of daily living, leading groups and mental health discussions, and delivering direct care as needed. Duties include assisting with ADLs, organizing and leading activities, monitoring attendance and participation in groups (1:6 ratio), preparing and administering residents’ medications as directed by the Wellness Coordinator, documenting medication and health changes, ensuring meals and dining routines, maintaining clean and orderly living spaces, reporting health or behavioral changes, performing regular safety checks, and maintaining professional standards of confidentiality and ethics. Requires knowledge of mental illness and de-escalation techniques, proficiency in documentation and communication, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and a high school diploma or equivalent with successful criminal background clearance.
