Job Summary
Behavioral Health Technician role assisting the nursing team in providing quality patient care for adults and adolescents working toward recovery from eating disorders. Responsibilities include basic monitoring of patient activities, meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders, and supporting topic groups with therapy activities such as art, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery. Requires High School diploma or GED, ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/CPI, AZ DPS fingerprint clearance, 21+ age, and a valid driver’s license; experience in behavioral/mental health is preferred. On-site schedule with options for full-time, part-time, or per-diem.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
- Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
