Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health and emotional disorders, including those with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). Conduct clinical assessments and assist in monitoring patient progress according to individualized treatment plans. Implement crisis intervention techniques and manage emergency situations to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and discharge plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update discharge plans and coordinate ongoing care. Assist patients with daily living activities and promote therapeutic engagement through structured activities and support. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient status and care needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a mental health or behavioral health setting
