Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Banyan Treatment Centers, you will provide essential peer and operational support to patients, monitoring their safety, conducting vital tests, and ensuring adherence to facility rules. Your role involves maintaining professional relationships, collaborating with medical staff, and assisting with patient transport and program management. Candidates must have a safe driving record, a clean DMV report, and preferably hold relevant behavioral health certifications or an associate's degree. Required Qualifications
- Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years
- Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant behavioral health certification
- Work experience in the field of substance use disorder or mental health treatment
- Experience working with patients at various levels of care, with an emphasis on detox and residential levels of care
- An associate's degree or higher
