Job Summary
Behavioral Health Technician responsible for monitoring safety, security, sobriety, and transportation of Victory Bay’s clients in various treatment stages. Responsibilities include directing daily schedules, transporting clients to treatment facilities, collaborating with clinical staff to support treatment plan goals, implementing behavioral interventions (coping skills, emotional regulation, and tailored modification techniques), maintaining a compassionate yet accountable environment, recording shift observations, crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed, monitoring for intoxication, administering urine analysis and breathalyzer tests on scheduled days, assisting with intake paperwork, managing keys, directing clients to group sessions, building meaningful client relationships, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Must be adaptable, have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with mental health training/experience; CPR, Narcan, and a valid driver license are highly desirable.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with specialized mental health training or experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health area preferred
- 2-4 years' experience working in a Mental Health Treatment Facility
- BHT certification highly desirable
- Current CPR certification highly desirable
- Narcan training highly desirable
- Valid driver license
