Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician - ABA (BHT-ABA) provides individualized, one-to-one ABA support to children and adolescents with behavioral disorders in various settings during the school year. Responsibilities include implementing individualized behavioral interventions based on treatment plan goals, fostering therapeutic relationships, providing crisis management support, and maintaining accurate daily documentation. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with relevant training or certification, or equivalent experience in ABA services. Key skills include familiarity with EHR systems, physical ability to engage with clients, and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and completed an approved 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List
- 2+ years of experience in providing ABA services and completed 40+ hours of approved training related to ABA
- BCaBA, RBT, BCAT, or other approved behavior analysis certification
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, such as Credible or other similar applications
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
