Job Summary
Provide a safe environment for clients as a Behavioral Health Technician on the 3rd shift. Assist in monitoring and guiding clients through the program with emphasis on safety and wellbeing; de-escalate problems, maintain logs and EMR records, participate in staff meetings, ensure cleanliness and order in group spaces, and support continuity of care during shift turnovers. Responsibilities include recording inventory and valuables, completing lab requisitions, supervising client activities, reporting infractions, offering emotional support and referrals to therapy staff, and transporting clients as needed while upholding professional boundaries and privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED preferred
- Experience working in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred
- Valid state driving license with no major violations in past five (5) years
