Job Summary
Provide assistance with daily activities including socialization, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, and community integration for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Accurately document progress and activity by reviewing records and logs to stay updated with changes in service plans. Deliver clinical expertise in specialized populations such as brain injury, emotional or behavioral disability, crisis intervention, or early intervention. Accompany individuals to medical appointments, relay orders and information to providers, and travel between sites, individual homes, and community locations. Maintain a reliable, responsible attitude with strong communication skills to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint card
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- A reliable, responsible attitude
- A compassionate approach
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services
