Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Function as a staff nurse as needed and assume delegated managerial duties. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS within the specified timeframe. Requires two years of patient care experience and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and walk throughout shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 2 years' experience in patient care is required
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisor experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
