Job Summary
Per diem weekend Behavioral Health Specialist (LCSW/LMSW eligible) providing crisis assessments, biopsychosocial assessments, behavioral interventions, and care coordination within the Emergency Department. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to determine care plans from admission to discharge, coordinates referrals, and supports follow-up with external agencies. Requires Master’s degree in social work and licensure capability, with two years of clinical experience and strong cultural-competence and communication skills. Based at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
- LMSW or LCSW/LPC/LMFT licensure capability
- Two years of clinical experience with at-risk populations
- Culturally competent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to communicate with target population
