Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary
Provide school-based behavioral health services to children and adolescents, including completing screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and developing individualized intervention plans. Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions, crisis support, and psychoeducation while teaching coping skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution techniques. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community agencies to coordinate services and monitor student progress within multidisciplinary team meetings. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA, participate in supervision and trainings, and support quality improvement initiatives. Work full-time, year-round under the direction of the Program Manager in a school-based setting with occasional travel between sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a closely related behavioral health field
- Must be within six (6) months of obtaining eligibility for Ohio LSW or LPC licensure at the Bachelor's or Master's level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or school-based behavioral health services
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based behavioral interventions
