Job Summary
Provide psychosocial, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented services for Turning Point members while advocating for them in all treatment areas. Support individual service plans, assist clients and families in accessing mental health treatment, medical care, housing, and food, and coach clients on social skills, money management, and job readiness. Maintain client records, complete documentation, and drive for medication outreach, home visits, and transporting clients to appointments. Deliver on-the-spot counseling consistent with program philosophy and provide after-hours on-call coverage on a rotational basis.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or accredited GED
- Four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of direct mental health services
- Relevant higher education substituted for up to two (2) years of experience
- California driver's license
- Current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from a four (4) year university or college with a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
