Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Specialist I, you will provide psychosocial, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented services while advocating for Turning Point members in treatment areas. Duties include maintaining client records, developing individual service plans, coaching clients in essential life skills, and facilitating access to mental health and other essential services. You will also drive clients for outreach and appointments while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and two years of experience in mental health services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Two (2) years of varied experience providing mental health services
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration
Additional Requirements
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old, excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport, inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.
