Job Summary
This position requires providing psychosocial, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented services for Turning Point members, advocating for clients in treatment, and assisting them in accessing medication, mental health treatment, and other essential services. Responsibilities include maintaining client records, developing individual service plans, and coaching clients on social skills and personal hygiene. Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Candidates must also possess a California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or an accredited GED program
- Four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of direct mental health services
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from a four (4) year university or college with a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field
- Experience as a provider of direct mental health services
