Job Summary
This position involves providing psychosocial, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented services for Turning Point members, including advocating for clients in treatment and assisting with applying for services. Responsibilities include maintaining client records, developing service plans, coaching clients in social skills and job readiness, and providing on-the-spot counseling. Additionally, the job includes meeting with clients at various locations, ensuring client safety and well-being, and driving for program-related tasks. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and extensive experience in direct mental health services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or an accredited GED program and four years of varied experience as a provider of direct mental health services.
- Graduation from a four year university or college with a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, and four years of varied experience as a provider of direct mental health services.
Additional Requirements
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration.
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old.
