Job Summary
Conduct direct care and skills coaching for individuals in residential and crisis settings, supporting daily living activities like meal prep, hygiene, and medication routines. Facilitate psychoeducational groups covering coping skills and wellness while maintaining therapeutic milieu through scheduled safety checks and de-escalation techniques. Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports, and shift handoffs in accordance with program protocols. Work in 24/7 environments including nights, weekends, and holidays, adapting to changing priorities and client needs across Crisis Stabilization, Residential Rehabilitation, and Group Homes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Understanding of mental health and substance use conditions
- Understanding of recovery principles
- Understanding of social determinants of health
- Awareness of trauma-informed care
- Awareness of harm reduction
- Awareness of person-centered practices
