Job Summary
Behavioral Health Specialist provides direct patient care under supervision in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, assisting with patient hygiene and mobility, acting as liaison between patient and nurse, accurate documentation, completing patient rounding and 15-minute checks, conducting patient data collection and screenings, and participating in continued education and in-service training. Requires high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and relevant certifications (BLS and various nursing/healthcare credentials are preferred).

- Bachelor’s Degree, related field (preferred)
- Licensing & Certifications: BLS (preferred), STNA (preferred), CNA (preferred), SWA (preferred), CDCA (preferred), HS-BCP (preferred), AAPT (preferred)
