Job Summary
Lead milieu management by creating a safe, stable environment for youth in crisis, implementing token economies to reinforce positive behaviors, and proactively preventing or responding to behavioral crises using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention strategies. Provide direct patient care by establishing individualized care plans, maintaining designated observation status, and conducting safety checks and room searches. Facilitate therapeutic outcomes through structured group programming, building rapport while maintaining professional boundaries, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Document all behavioral observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately to support data collection and safe handoffs. Support patients with severe psychological difficulties, including mood disorders, psychosis, and neurodevelopmental disorders, within a state-of-the-art adolescent inpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
