Job Summary
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies; conducts admitting and shift assessments; analyzes patient data and notifies physicians of condition changes; participates in development and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans; documents nursing care and adheres to standards; supervises care delivered by LPNs and techs; educates patients and families and documents education in the EHR; applies evidence-based practice and ANA Ethics guidelines; maintains patient safety within the unit; performs other duties as assigned; education and licensing requirements include RN licensure and BLS; benefits include sign-on/tuition coverage and paid parental leave; location: SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Wentzville, MO; 36 scheduled weekly hours; shifts include days, nights, weekends; no experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State RN license (Missouri or Compact state)
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Missouri Division of Professional Registration or compact state
