Job Summary
Behavioral Health Respite Provider (Part Time) delivers youth-focused behavioral health respite services across home, school, and community environments. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring youth to strengthen emotional regulation, coping, social interaction, and independent living skills; implementing individualized treatment objectives and positive behavior supports; collaborating with families and care teams; responding appropriately during behavioral crises; and traveling to client homes in Ohio. Must have a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred), 21+ years old, and a valid Ohio driver's license. 2+ years of experience with youth is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work with diverse populations are required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 2+ years experience working with youth preferred
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Travel to homes of clients/students is necessary
- Ability to use a computer, proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to evaluate, monitor, and support clients’ well-being and stability
- Ability to act effectively in stressful situations
- Ability to gather information to make informed recommendations and referrals to appropriate resources
- Ability to help clients identify their strengths and needs
- Ability to assist with development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment goals
- Ability to manage a complex caseload of high need, complex need clients
- Must be 21 years of age or older
