Job Summary

Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment levels and conduct mental health screenings using standardized instruments. Provide psychotherapy, brief interventions, and PCP-initiated consultations including differential diagnosis and psychoeducation. Act as a patient advocate by ensuring individuals are fully informed and comfortable during visits. Collaborate with medical providers, dental teams, and behavioral health staff to deliver integrated care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases while following electronic health records procedures. Requires a Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, Colorado licensure within three years, and fluency in Spanish and English. Salary ranges from $67,100 to $85,100 annually.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or equivalent
  • Must be licensed by the State of Colorado within 3 years from the date of hire
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions
  • Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must

Desired Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years post-licensure treating patients with psychosocial issues
