Job Summary

Provide high-level outpatient behavioral health services under the supervision of the Director, delivering individual, group, and family-based therapeutic interventions for complex, comorbid, and treatment-resistant disorders. Maintain a caseload of at least 32 billable clinical hours weekly while developing clinical programming aligned with state, local, and federal regulatory requirements. Ensure comprehensive clinical documentation adheres to all applicable standards and uphold organizational values within a Just Culture framework. This role supports Vail Health's integrated behavioral health model across all outpatient clinics in Eagle County, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities to promote recovery and wellness. Bilingual proficiency is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in an outpatient or community behavioral health setting
  • Understanding of Colorado laws and regulations as they relate to the mental health practices, privacy, confidentiality, supervision, and ethical delivery of care
  • Experience overseeing accurate and timely data collection and data reporting to include Medicaid billing or reporting requirements
  • Behavioral Health Provider License issued by the state of Colorado with 3 years of applicable behavioral health experience
  • Acceptable licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Expertise in American Psychological Association (APA) ethical codes and applicable statutes
  • State of Colorado Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • State of Colorado Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • State of Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Master's degree in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or related field
  • Must be HIPAA compliant
  • Must maintain a caseload of minimally 32 billable clinical hours per week
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work well within the organizational structure

Desired Qualifications

  • Rural behavioral health experience with specific knowledge of resources and community agencies specific to Eagle County preferred
  • Bilingual Preferred
