Job Summary
Behavioral Health Program Counselor responsible for implementing ABA-based behavioral treatment goals, leading groups, mentoring MHWs, documenting client progress in EMR, and ensuring adherence to program guidelines. Requires 6 months of ABA direct service experience (prefer adults in residential settings), BST experience, crisis de-escalation skills, and knowledge of ABA fundamentals. CADC-I preferred. The role involves escorting clients to groups, facilitating BST-driven interventions, leading group activities, collecting and recording data, and communicating changes in client behavior to nursing leadership. Located in Atwater, CA; full-time position with $23/hour pay.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months direct service experience in ABA
- Experience as lead behavior therapist/lead RBT preferred
- Experience utilizing BST
- Must have crisis de-escalation procedures (training and certification will be provided to become current)
- Fundamentals of ABA (reinforcement, functions of behavior, skills teaching)
- CADC-I preferred
