Job Summary
Behavioral Health Professional provides clinical services to youth in secure care at COJC, including individual, group, and family therapy using CBT/DBT/TF-CBT approaches, crisis interventions, and collaborative treatment planning. Roles include managing an assigned clinical caseload, developing and reviewing individualized treatment plans, participating in interdisciplinary teams, maintaining thorough documentation compliant with HIPAA and licensing standards, and upholding trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with annual salary levels at Level I ($66,000), Level II ($71,000), and Level III ($76,000). Requires master's degree and supervised licensure pathways; ongoing licensure and continuing education, travel as required, and ability to pass background checks. The position emphasizes supervision toward independent licensure, adherence to professional ethics, and participation in on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field
- active supervision with a board-approved supervisor for licensure pathways (Level I)
- board-approved supervision and pathway toward independent licensure
- state licensure or eligibility for licensure upon supervision for Level II/III (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.)
- licensure boards listed: Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health Licensure, Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Oklahoma Board of Licensed Social Workers, etc.
