Job Summary
Review and sign off on Behavioral Health Technician charting to ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. Supervise and manage the BHT team by providing guidance, support, and oversight while conducting individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth. Facilitate therapeutic environments for clients and maintain accurate records of all interactions and team activities. Provide regular updates to administration and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Ensure all documentation and activities adhere to federal and state standards. Maintain current licensure, hold First Aid and CPR certifications, and pass a fingerprint clearance background check. Commit 15-20 hours weekly in a flexible remote setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Psychiatric Technician (PT)
- Contractor employment classification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality requirements in mental health care
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and work effectively in a remote setting
- Must pass a fingerprint clearance background check
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
