Job Summary
Implement treatment plans, advocate for residents, facilitate group activities, assist with appointments and transportation, and administer medications while documenting progress. Collaborate with the treatment director, clinical supervisors, social workers, and nurses to maintain a safe, supportive environment and enforce residential program policies. Provide direct support including counseling, meals, and crisis intervention as needed. Maintain relationships with referring agencies, guardians, and programs involved in residents' lives. Work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays with flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in behavioral sciences or related field
- 2,000 hours clinically supervised experience
- completion of required training
- practicum/internship experience
- 4,000 hours experience working with mental health, substance use, TBI, or developmental disability clients
- completion of required training
- ongoing supervision until requirements are met
- Master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related field
- enrollment as a graduate student assigned to ElevaCare for clinical training
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Regularly stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands
- lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency with computers (Windows environment)
- Commitment to teamwork, confidentiality, and ElevaCare's mission
- Ability to work assigned hours and perform all essential functions
