Behavioral Health Patient Care Manager – PRN located in Traverse City, MI. Responsible for facilitating progression-of-care and monitoring patient progress to ensure the plan of care and services are patient-focused, high-quality, evidence-based, appropriately authorized by insurance, and cost-effective. Works within D6 Inpatient Behavioral Health (17-bed unit for adults with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression) alongside a multidisciplinary team. Key duties include ensuring therapeutic communication, setting boundaries, fostering trust, and delivering compassionate, effective care. Requires Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling or 6000 hours of related experience, and Michigan behavioral health licensure (LMSW/LPC/LLP) with potential consideration for Limited Licensed individuals with manager approval. Vaccination or documented immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and annual flu vaccination or approved exemptions are required.
