Job Summary
Facilitate progression-of-care and monitor patient progress to ensure plans are patient-focused, high quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective. Assist patients across all age groups in navigating intricate emotional and physical challenges while fostering trust through therapeutic communication. Manage a 17-bed D6 Inpatient Behavioral Health unit serving adults with conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. This role supports a multidisciplinary team of providers, nurses, and clinicians in delivering outstanding care to over half a million residents across 29 counties. The position requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, or 6,000 hours of related experience, along with a Michigan behavioral health counseling license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from a social work, psychology, and/or counseling accredited program
- 6000 hours of counseling and/or related experience
- Michigan License to provide behavioral health counseling - May be a LMSW, LPC, or LLP
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella vaccination or lab confirmed immunity
- Flu vaccine during flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, or approved medical or religious exemption
