Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care for students, including addressing emergencies, administering medications, and conducting health assessments. Monitor vital signs, coordinate lab draws, and track narcotics with strict accountability. Continuously observe mood and behavior, documenting findings for the treatment team and psychiatrist. Accompany students to medical appointments and communicate relevant information to parents. Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 medical assistance while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and a valid Utah nursing license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age 21
- Valid Utah driver's license with a clean driving record
- Active LPN or RN license in Utah
- Ability to pass a Utah State background check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration
- Skilled in using standard nursing tools and assessing physical conditions
- Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation
- Willingness to receive professional feedback and pursue ongoing training
- CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing
- Ability to float between departments/houses
- Psychiatric/behavioral health experience strongly preferred

- Background in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or a related field
