Job Summary
Provide therapeutic services including assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy to adults, children, and adolescents with intellectual, developmental, mental health, and substance use challenges. Serve as a link between the company, parents, guardians, and community agencies while coordinating care with internal psychiatry resources and external legal or social support bodies. Facilitate relationships, support connections to services, and refer clients for holistic treatment. Work closely with clinical staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, standardize procedures, and expedite treatment implementation. Physical demands include lifting up to 15 lbs, squatting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Proficiency in CPR from floor level is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Counseling or a related field
- Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare
- LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT or relevant Associate License
- General working knowledge of the human services delivery system
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Ability to perform tasks on the computer including working with Microsoft 360, Excel, Word and other basic programs
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally pull at least 10 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular job duties
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries
- OIG exclusions database check
- Child Abuse Registry check
- Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities check
- Drug testing
- Education verification
- Credentialing based on position requirements
- Proof of employment history or references
- Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) (For Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs only)
