Job Summary
Dietetic Technician supports Registered Dietitians in Medical Nutrition Therapy within an inpatient behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include nutrition assessment and patient care, reviewing meal plans and tube feeding or supplements orders, maintaining patient nutrition data, coordinating with Kitchen Services, and providing nutrition education to patients and families. The role involves collaboration with the patient care team, documentation per facility protocol, and preparation of educational materials, with emphasis on accurate communication and professional interaction with patients, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalency
- Arizona Food Handlers Card or obtain within 30 days of hire
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- CPI
- Manager certification preferred
- Valid state drivers license
- 2 years experience with food services in an inpatient hospital or behavioral health setting with emphasis on clinical and tray-line responsibilities preferred
Desired Qualifications
