Job Summary
Behavioral Health Department Manager leads a behavioral health team while delivering clinical care to own caseload; oversees day-to-day clinical operations, supports therapist development, ensures quality standards, and drives market growth in the Pittsburgh region through community and referral relationships. Core duties include supervising, mentoring, onboarding and training on clinical workflows and documentation standards; delivering evidence-based psychotherapy as caseload ramps; building relationships with pediatricians, schools, therapists, and community organizations; driving outreach and inbound referral flow; collaborating with Operations, Care Navigation, Marketing, HR, and Clinical Leadership; and supporting recruitment, retention, and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Current PA license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD)
- Willingness to cross license other states
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed therapist
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must reside within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA
- Available on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
