Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families to address emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans and deliver crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in direct therapy and crisis intervention. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
