Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive plans utilizing crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide leadership in mental therapy perspectives while documenting all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
- Understand the contents of the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
