Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients and families. Provide crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Formulate interventions to refine decision-making processes and participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams representing a professional counseling perspective. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
