Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and consultation regarding hospitalization and illness. Document assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and health system guidelines. Maintain a Bachelor's or Master's degree, hold a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license, and possess three years of experience in direct assessment and therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
