Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning and crisis intervention. Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective and document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, with Adventist Health Columbia Gorge serving the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
